Web 2.0 is wonderful and practical as a new advent to the 21st century. As a society we are becoming more and more technologically dependent for social activity and connection. Web 2.0 helps to bring us vital services that keep us connected to each other no matter how far we are from each other. Sites like facebook and myspace are wonderful and fucntional tools that keep us connected and help us to reconnect. As technology becomes more and more people orented and user friendly the sky is the limit in terms of what we can do and web 2.0 is why. If my mother can blog and my aunt's pet goats can have their own facebook page, imagine the infinite possibilities for future generations!
